Isla San Martin, Mexico

The sunset gave the small fishing camp a romantic light, highlighting the panga's and small shacks.
The Pelicans always amaze us how close they fly to the water.  This shot is looking across to the main land and the channel.  Don't you just love it when the sea looks this glassy?
Here you can see the twin peaks of the volcano and the scrub and cactus growing on the lava flow.  Tough walking, but really interesting!
This one is for my mum!!!  She has these 'ice plants' growing in her rockery in England and I was really amazed to see how big and healthy they grew in their natural habitat - shame I couldn't post her some of these specimens!
