| So many of the park and recreation sites in
England are old castle estates. Bradgate park is a favourite to visit in
the East Midlands area and draws many people on the weekends. Old
castles are everywhere one goes and many are open to the public having
been restored to museum pieces or simply like this one left in it's
natural state. |

| We've been back to this park a couple of
times to explore the many trails and climb to rocky knolls for a 360
degree view of the surrounding countryside. Stone walls like this one
crisscross the country and have endured for hundreds of years with no
cement or grouting between the rocks. |

| It is really amazing how many pictures Julie
gets herself into. Well, now that she has a new digital camera maybe I
will be seen poking my nose in occasionally. So many old oak trees
like this abound all knarly and seeping history. Bradgate park is also
known for the many deer that live in the woods and don't shy to far away
from the many visitors. |
