This is where we made our home for a
couple of weeks whilst our boat was in dry storage. It is located approx
2km from Marina Seca, a 10 min walk from the 'Extra' store bus stop. |
| The 'apartments' are serviced much
like a motel, with each 'apartment' having fresh towels, soap and sheets
nearly every day. The jacuzzi pool is always clean and a great
place to socialize with the other guests at the end of a hot day. |
 |
 |
The gardens are very well looked
after and you may choose to use the barbecue they provide. We had
several 'pot luck' evenings with the other 'yachties' staying here. |
| There are 12 apartments, all with
two double beds, air-conditioning, T.V. , hot shower, sink and hanging
space in the private bathroom. Each room also has a fridge and
microwave. |
 |
 |
Some of the apartments have a
separate kitchen and living area, like the one we had. The rates
as of May 2004 were $90 US per week without kitchen and $100 US per week
with kitchen. |
| You could get used to living in
space like this!! Free bottled water meant I could make two trays
of ice cubes each day and we brought the VCR from the boat and rented
videos for $2.50 a day from the video shop on the main road. |
